The sweater fit fine but the color was nothing like what is shown here. It was a very bright pink.wore twice and just saw a big hole in arm pit area.. yes on seam but seriously..wore it twice.not soft at all for cashmereI really wanted to love this sweater. It does feel like cashmere but maybe on the lower end of the quality spectrum. For this price point, I'd pick up a different brand on sale. Sometimes more well known brands can be had even cheaper than this one. However, the cut and fit is onpoint. If you're laying with this it'd be perfect. The neckline does come down a bit but I can definitely wear this with other jackets and tops to make it perfect. The packaging on this looks amazing. I'm just worried about how long this will last. It's supposed to be machine washable but I haven't dared to do it yet. If it falls apart or is ruined in the wash, i'll update here. The first thing that came to mind when I saw this concerns how nice it looks. The next thought that ran through my mind concerns the fact that such a nice sweater that is made of cashmere is definitely not cheap. After that, I really just started to think about how I need to separate this from my other laundry to make sure that I follow the care guidelines. This is a well-made sweater that breathes pretty well and most importantly, it is comfortable. It's warm but not overly so. It's a little smaller than I anticipated but it doesn't impact how much I like it; I just wish it wasn't so costly.Pros:Looks greatLike the coloringNot too hot nor coldHigh-quality CashmereCons:MSRP is a bit highFits a little smaller (but it is still flattering to me)Not all cashmere is created equal. I have a vintage Neiman Marcus cardigan from the early 1960s that looks like it was made yesterday, while the five inexpensive Uniqlo pullovers I bought in 2014 didn't even last one season. With cashmere, you definitely get what you pay for.I'd say this is a mid-range quality sweater. It's lightweight but has a nice tight weave and is very soft. At this point, I can't say whether it's going to pill excessively or not, but it's obviously superior to Uniqlo. It has a flattering drape and the mustard yellow color is unique. I'm 5'4", 150 lbs, with a 34 B/C bust and the size L offers a slightly slouchy, comfortable fit. As a bonus, the packaging is top notch. The sweater came in a wrapped in tissue paper in a custom cardboard box. Very posh.I ordered this as a long-term investment piece, a reward that I'll be able to wear regularly once I reach my weight-loss goal...and yes, I know that's normally considered a bad idea, but I've chosen one versatile, timeless piece to represent the new wardrobe I'll need then, rather than buying a bunch of stuff to take up lots of closet space. I want to get away from fast fashion once I'm reaching my goal weight, and this also fits into that plan.I've tried this on my sewing mannequin, as my goal weight will put me similar to my MIL's size, and the mannequin is dialed in for her. It's very flattering, and will work well as a staple piece under a blazer or over a blouse, year-round.The cashmere is wonderfully soft, knitted well from a very finely spun yarn. The shaping is good, and the ribbed collar and cuffs are very nice. This is one of those pieces that, if taken care of properly and kept moth-free, can last a decade or two--ideal for an investment piece if you're not into fast fashion for ethical or environmental reasons, or just prefer quality clothes.I'm a sucker for a nice sweater and this one was on constant rotation for me during the winter and spring here. Its very flattering with a slightly loose fit, so it doesn't hug the body but also isn't boxy shaped either. I did notice that the V-neck version is slightly shorter than the crew neck one. The cashmere is more of a blend, I know it says 100% but the feeling of it isn't quite pure cashmere, but still soft and kept me warm even without layering. Washing on delicate kept it looking nice and even when I accidentally tossed it in with my regular wash, it still came out looking good.I own many cashmere sweaters and needed to replace my grey one, since I ruined it by accidentally throwing it into the washing machine. Don't do that :):):) So this grey sweater is darker in tone, soft, lightweight, no itchy feeling with almost no fuzz to it, and it is smooth and dense, therefore no showing through.I ordered a size Medium, which would be my typical size, but compared to other brands I own, this sweater is wider and shorter. Honestly, it is a little too short to my liking and the V neck cut is lower and bigger than the photos in the product description. I like to wear my cashmere sweaters on bare skin, but because of the shape of this sweater, wider and not closely fitted, I wear it with a white blouse under it; it works well for layering.I am a little confused and wonder if I have received the same product that other customers have reviewed, because I had no information on where the cashmere is coming from, just a label that it is made in China and has to be washed by hand. Also it came in a regular see-through plastic bag shipped in a plastic envelope, not a gift box or any kind of information. Not giftable in the way that I received it for sure! Just wondering .... but as far as the product itself, I am satisfied with the material and style for layering purposes.
