Okay, I’ll be honest, these aren’t the best looking shoes but I’ll tell you, they are so COMFORTABLE! I have very high arches and have always been plagued with ankle issues and Achilles tendinitis. No more with these. My first pair lasted two years and I just received a new one. At work, I’m on my feet a lot and these give me all the support I need.Was surprised with the color. Onyx is typically a black, which is what I thought i was ordering. The photo looked like they were black. Actual product received is a silvery blue-grey. I decided to keep them because the color is rather unique and has grown on me.Color was not as dark as the picture.This was my first pair of Birkenstocks. When I first put them on they were very rigid and I didn't think I would like them. They ended up being the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. I wear them every day.I spend a lot of time in the pottery studio which has plain concrete floors. My back would be killing me by the end of the night because of the lack of support. I started wearing these sandals to the studio and the support they provided stopped my back pain.I actually prefer walking in these more so than tennis shoes!I have received a lot of compliments from others on these shoes and all are shocked to hear they are Birkenstocks.Super comfy thank you ordered 1size up due to seeing reviews they run narrow. My feet swell so p l aged it safe from a 8 to a 9 amd tighten strap love themThe first time I tried it on,I was amazed by the fit.It has adjustable buckle and that made the difference. I've other shoes where the foot bed is with good arch support and everything.but the top wouldn't fit,it would be always a little loose for me. So no matter how much I spent,I did not get the snug support I needed.With this buckle on top ,now I've the perfect overall fit. It is my go to sandals,and I can walk without my back hurting. I've back pain issues for few years now and the root cause for the pain is from my feet.so it is very important that I wear supportive shoes and this is the best so far.I bought this in onyx color and I'm really happy with the color.I like them so far. They are really comfortable. My only complaint is the part between your toes is thicker than I’m used to. Once my toes get used to it they are gonna be my favorite!Bought as a gift and went over as expected. Quality product and was exactly what I expected.This shoe is comfortable and looks good. I wear a size 9 and it was just the right fit.
